Customer Terms – BidHaul LLC

Last Updated: June 26, 2026

These Customer Terms summarize how the BidHaul marketplace works for customers and the responsibilities you accept when posting and paying for a job. They are part of the BidHaul Terms of Service.

1. Posting a Job

Posting a job is free. Provide accurate photos, job details, access instructions, contact information, and location. Choose a completion deadline that fits your needs — ASAP (24 hours), within 2 days, within 1 week, a specific date, or Flexible.

2. Accepting a Bid & Payment Held

Local independent haulers send private bids. When you accept a bid, you pay the accepted amount through BidHaul's secure Stripe checkout. The funds are held by BidHaul — shown as "Payment Held".

Payment Held does not mean the hauler has been paid. The hauler is paid only after the job is completed and payout is approved or released.

3. Completion Deadline

The deadline timer starts only after you accept a bid and payment is secured. The timer does not start when the job is first posted. Flexible jobs do not have an automatic deadline timer.

If the selected hauler misses your deadline, you can request a refund, extend the deadline, message the hauler, or contact BidHaul. Refunds are not automatic — BidHaul may review the job before approving.

4. Review & Release of Funds

After the hauler uploads completion photos, you'll be asked to review completion and release funds, report a problem, or contact BidHaul. After confirming completion, you may be asked to rate the hauler.

Jobs with accepted bids over $1,500 require BidHaul admin review before payout is released. High-value jobs do not follow the standard automatic release timer.

5. Refunds & Disputes

Refunds may be issued for missed deadlines, non-completion, dispute resolution, cancellation, payment error, or admin review, and may be full or partial. Stripe refunds may take several business days to reach your bank. See the Refund & Dispute Policy for details.

6. Cancellations

  • Before accepting a bid: cancel anytime, no cost.
  • After accepting but before payment: cancel without payout.
  • After payment is secured: cancellation may need BidHaul review, especially if the hauler has started or traveled.
  • After completion is submitted: handled via dispute or refund process.

7. Messaging & Address Privacy

After payment is secured, you and the selected hauler can message inside BidHaul. BidHaul may review messages for safety and support.

Your exact address and contact details are shared only with the selected hauler after payment is secured. Other haulers only see an approximate location.

8. Prohibited Items

You may not post jobs involving illegal, hazardous, restricted, or unsafe materials unless specifically allowed by law and accepted by a qualified hauler. Examples include hazardous chemicals, fuel, paint, asbestos, medical waste, biohazards, explosives, and regulated waste.

9. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate photos, descriptions, location, and contact info.
  • Don't materially change the job after receiving or accepting bids without notifying the hauler and/or BidHaul.
  • Be available or provide access during the agreed completion window.
  • Use BidHaul honestly — do not bid on or pay yourself through your own job.
